About McMeekin
Hello.
My name is Matthew McMeekin, I am from Ft Pierce Florida.

I started McMeekin Consults because I care deeply about patient safety and transparency. Throughout my nursing career, I’ve seen how medical systems can either empower or fail patients — and how errors, oversights, and inadequate care can lead to lasting harm. These moments pushed me to do more: to help hold the system accountable and advocate for those who’ve been hurt by it.

With nearly 20 years in nursing — from ERs to ICUs to home infusions — I’ve developed a sharp eye for spotting what went wrong and where care fell short. I now use that insight to support attorneys in building strong, honest, evidence-based cases.

Outside of work, I spend my time with my wife, our baby daughter, and our chocolate lab, Ulu. We love being outside, especially in the ocean — surfing, traveling, and soaking up nature whenever we can.
